Tired...but still knitting... and living

I'm almost finished with the Carolina socks. I've put the second monkey sock on hold because I'm knitting Gypsy some wrist warmers that I am hoping to have done before he leaves. My bestest friend is leaving for who knows how long in less than a week! I may have a nervous breakdown sometime soon. :( I'm also going to try and knit the mystery sock pattern from Socktopia for August. We'll see if that turns out happening. I haven't been that great at keeping my word lately. School is starting in two weeks and I'm beginning to feel like a mad woman with anxiety. I like to be prepared for things, but the program isn't exactly as organized as I want it to be. I hate how schools don't spell things out for you and tell you what you have to do. They expect you to know stuff before you get there, or be ok learning from stupid mistakes you make when you first walk into the building. I HATE being that person. I want to know everything in advance so I don't fall on my ass. Really... I was told today that there's still not a set time for orientation. Oh well I'll live. At least I found out I don't have to buy textbooks this semester.
